Empowering women in nature
Small-group outdoor experiences designed for women who want time outdoors, learning, connection, and gentle adventure.
Whether you join me for a day in the Surrey woods or a weekend on Dartmoor, you'll find a welcoming space to try new skills, build confidence, and connect with like-minded women.
Women tell me they come not really knowing what to expect - and leave feeling nourished, restored, and more themselves than they've felt in months.
You might not know you need this yet. That's okay. Most people don't - until they get here.

Why women-only outdoor experiences?
Many women tell me they love the all-female atmosphere. There's something special about learning and adventuring in supportive company, without feeling you need to keep up or prove anything.
Women who join these outdoor experiences say they appreciate:
-
Time away from everyday responsibilities
-
Learning in an unpressured, encouraging environment
-
Connecting with other women who 'get it'
-
Building outdoor confidence at their own pace
-
Being themselves in the woods
"I like who I am in the forest."
"In my season of fun."
"The camaraderie was wonderful."
"Elspeth creates a lovely joyful vibe with plenty of opportunity to take part in activities, or to be more quietly engaged. Would recommend for those who are extroverts, introverts or somewhere in the middle!" Kirsty Kelley, Rewilding Weekend Dartmoor 2025

Who are these outdoor experiences for?
These workshops welcome women of all backgrounds and experience levels.
You'll benefit from women's outdoor adventure if you're:
-
In midlife and rediscovering what brings you joy
-
Craving time outdoors but lacking confidence to go alone
-
Wanting to learn practical skills in an unpressured environment
-
Looking for connection with like-minded women
-
Needing a proper break from screens, work, and responsibilities
No previous outdoor experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

About Elspeth
I'm passionate about creating outdoor experiences where women feel genuinely welcome, supported, and free to be themselves.
As a qualified ethnobotanist, bushcraft instructor, Lowland Leader, and laughter yoga facilitator, I bring a range of skills to these experiences - but more importantly, I bring warmth, encouragement, and genuine joy in helping women discover their outdoor confidence.
