What you'll experience during a bushcraft workshop

Your day begins around the campfire with a warming cup of foraged tea as you settle into the rhythm of the forest.

Over the course of the bushcraft workshop, we'll:

  • Forage for wild edible plants and learn to identify native trees

  • Gather tinder and kindling, then hone your firelighting skills

  • Get hands-on with a bushcraft knife and learn the therapeutic practice of whittling

  • Relax with plenty of time for conversation, contemplation, and simply being amongst the trees

Foraged food is woven throughout the day. You'll enjoy drinks & cakes /snacks made with local, seasonal wild ingredients - perhaps wild garlic scones, nettle cordial, or sweet woodruff cake, depending on the season.

What's included in Wild in the Woods?

🌿 Full day guided workshop (09:30-17:30)
🌿 Introduction to foraging, tree ID, firelighting, and whittling
🌿 All materials and equipment provided

Campfire singing circle for women

Seasonal evening experiences

Thursday 25 June · 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Join me for a gentle summer evening of campfire singing, connection and time outdoors at Rosamund Community Garden.

We’ll gather around the fire as the light softens, share simple songs together, and enjoy the feeling that comes when voices rise together outdoors. There’s something deeply calming and uplifting about singing in a group like this. No performance, no pressure, no need to “be good” at singing.

This is about warmth, community, and giving yourself a couple of hours to slow down.

Includes campfire drinks and snacks around the fire. Bring your own supper, or something small to share if you’d like.

Come as you are.

One woman who joined a previous singing session told me afterwards:
“I’m not a singer but the Wild Choir session was the highlight of my weekend.”

Another said:
“The singing session was my favourite bit of the whole weekend and gave me a big energy happiness boost.”

If you’ve been craving more fresh air, connection, music, or simply an evening that feels nourishing and different from the usual routine, I’d love to welcome you.
