Forest school for grown-ups in Surrey
Join me for a relaxed introduction to foraging and woodland skills in the beautiful Surrey countryside.
Step away from daily life and spend a day immersed in nature - learning, connecting, and rediscovering how good it feels to be amongst the trees.
If you like the sound of forest school for grown-ups, this day is for you.

What you'll experience during a bushcraft workshop
Your day begins around the campfire with a warming cup of foraged tea as you settle into the rhythm of the forest.
Over the course of the bushcraft workshop, we'll:
-
Forage for wild edible plants and learn to identify native trees
-
Gather tinder and kindling, then hone your firelighting skills
-
Get hands-on with a bushcraft knife and learn the therapeutic practice of whittling
-
Relax with plenty of time for conversation, contemplation, and simply being amongst the trees
Foraged food is woven throughout the day. You'll enjoy drinks, cakes, and a light vegetarian lunch made with local, seasonal wild ingredients - perhaps wild garlic scones, spring greens soup, nettle cordial, or sweet woodruff cake, depending on the season.
